The double bind: Being assertive and likable

- Women face a conundrum, either speak up and be perceived as competent but less likable or shrink and be perceived as likable but less competent. This is often referred to as the double bind. It makes me think of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. One bowl of porridge is too hot, the other is too cold. So how do you find the one that's just right? Listen in as Sabin shares her experience with her mentor. - Hey, do you have a minute? - Hi, Sabin. Sure, how are things? - Overall, good. But to be honest, I'm a little bit frustrated.
