Hi, I'm Matthew Clark, and this is Lesson 2.7: Supplier Risk. In Lesson 1.3, we discussed the various vendors and third parties that OEMs can use to develop and manufacture their IoT products, and we've mentioned supplier risk and other lessons as well. This lesson is going to go a little deeper into this topic. In this lesson, we'll look at vendor and third-party risk. We'll identify a simple supplier management process and discuss supply chain vulnerabilities. And we'll finish with the case study. So let's get started. Just a quick moment for definitions. Let's talk about the difference between a vendor and a third-party. A vendor is an entity that provides goods and services to the OEM, and a third party is an entity tasked with providing products and services to consumers on behalf of an OEM.
