- As a leader today, you're under pressure to apply technology wherever it can solve real problems and create long-term value. When it comes to conversational AI, this means you need to look for opportunities wherever conversations are taking place within and outside your organization. I like to think about this by considering four conversational functions, which are fundamental to most organizations: inform, sell, support, and operate. We'll start with inform. Prospective customers, people visiting your website, typically browse products and services looking to learn more before they decide to make a purchase. They're shopping. Conversational AI can be very valuable here by proactively offering to help them navigate information and answer common questions as they shop. Next is sell.
