From the course: InDesign 2024 Essential Training

Next steps

- One of the great things about InDesign is that it's so rich, so deep that there's always more to learn. If you want to go deeper with InDesign, I have several recommendations. First, check out the website that I help run, creativepro.com, which is also the new home for InDesign Secrets. There are thousands of tips and tricks and more every week. Plus, we have a free InDesign podcast, live online events, and more. If you sign up for a free account, you'll get an InDesign tip every week in your inbox. Or if you become a member, you'll get our publication, Creative Pro Magazine, plus all 150 back issues of InDesign Magazine. This is a great resource written by InDesign experts all over the world. It's distributed as a PDF, and you can download a free trial issue from creativepro.com. If you use InDesign for professional work, I definitely recommend you check out our events, including our annual conference Creative Pro Week, which includes five days of sessions about InDesign. Of course, the online training library has lots more InDesign courses. For example, search for the InDesign Secrets title that I do with Anne-Marie Concepcion. It is chalk full of cool InDesign tips, also InDesign interactive PDFs and introduction to GREP in InDesign. Finally, please follow me on LinkedIn. I have a newsletter of short essays that you might find interesting, which you can subscribe to on my LinkedIn profile. If you find yourself with questions about InDesign, there's a Q and A tab here in the LinkedIn course, or one of the best things you can do is join one or both of the free InDesign Secrets groups that I manage on LinkedIn and Facebook. The InDesign Secrets communities are welcoming and super helpful. Thank you for coming along with me on this wild ride through Adobe InDesign. I hope you enjoyed the trip as much as I have. Sure, InDesign is an industrial strength, professional design and production tool, but it's also a lot of fun. Enjoy playing with it. After all, playing with any software is the best way to learn it. Have fun and happy InDesigning.
