Create a collection

- [Narrator] As you start to find courses that you're interested in, you'll likely want to save them. And on LinkedIn Learning, it's easy to do that. Now, if you'd like to organize the videos that you save, you can utilize the collections feature. I'm going to navigate to my library, and I'll do that by going to the Career Journey tab. And then inside of here, the My Library tab. One of my options is for My Collections. And you can see here that I've already created 29 collections. I'll click on this and it shows me those collections. I have one for remote working, digital literacy skills, collaboration skills, and so on. Now, if I click on this, it will show me all of the content that I have inside of that collection. So each of these are specific pieces of content that I saved and put into this remote working collection. Now, I like these for a couple reasons. It makes it easy to refer back to content on a specific topic, and also you can share them. So if I have content that I want to share with a team or group of people, I can go ahead and then share that like I'm sharing a folder. Now let's take a look at how we can create a collection. Up at the top of this page, you'll see here Create New Collection, and if I click on it, I can go ahead and give it a title and a description, and I'll have a new collection in here. Now, it obviously won't have any content inside of it yet, but that would be a new collection. Now I'm going to close this and I want to navigate to a course to show you how we can create one from right there. So I'm going to go to a leadership course, let's say Leadership Foundations. And this is a course that I want to save and add to a collection. Now, up at the top, I can like it here if I want. I can save it. And let's say I want it to save that, that's fine, but it's not added to a collection. In order to add it to a collection, I'm going to go over here to this plus icon. I'll click on this and it's going to bring up the collections that I've already created. Now, if it's one of these that I want to add it to, I would simply click on Add over to the right. However, in this case, I want to put it in a leadership collection that I haven't yet created. So from here at the bottom, I can click on Create Collection, and I get that same popup. So in here, I'll put in leadership skills. Below I could leave a description, and then when I'm done, I'll click Create. You can see here that I've now created that leadership skills collection, and it's telling me that I have one item in it. So, take advantage of these collections as a great way to organize and share the content that you're interested in saving.
