Course assessments

- [Instructor] Many of the courses on LinkedIn Learning contain multiple choice quizzes at the end of chapters. These quizzes are optional, but recommended. They're not meant to give you a grade, but rather to focus on helping you validate your understanding of the content and to learn more effectively. And these chapter quizzes can be taken as many times as you'd like. Let's take a look at an example. I'm going to click on this course here, Learning to Teach Online, and on the left I have that table of contents. Now, the first video is titled Online Education in a Post Pandemic World, and so on. And if I go down though, you'll see at the end of these chapters that there is a chapter quiz and it says three questions here for this one. I'm going to go ahead and click on that. When I do, it brings up this quiz. Now, here's question one asking, in most online courses, the instructor and learners, I'm going to go ahead and answer this one. I'll click Submit and it's letting me know that I was correct. I can then advance to the next question. Here, I'm going to click a random one. I'll click Submit. And in this case, it's telling me I got it incorrect, and then it's showing me the video where I can go to and watch it again, if I wanted to see what it is that they said. So here I could click on this, and it allows me to look that up right away. Now, I'll click on next question. I'll go like this and let's just, I'll click on any answer again, that one I got correct. Next, and it's telling me at the end that I got two out of three correctly. And again, like I said, I could continue watching. I can go back and review my answers and retake the quiz, et cetera. Here, if I click on Review all answers, again, I can go study it. And again, it's not meant to hold you accountable or to scare you, but it's really just to make sure that you are understanding the information that's being presented. I suggest taking advantage of these and checking your understanding as you progress through courses.
