How to write an effective prompt for AI
(keys typing) (bell dings) - There is an art to writing a good prompt and I'll be sharing an easy framework that will help you become a better prompt engineer. That's the term for it. Let's understand that ChatGPT is drawing on a massive dataset taken from numerous sources. This covers lots of topics and ranges from great quality to low quality. The job of a great prompt is to focus in on a specific topic and to try and narrow in on the good quality data. I'll explain how we can go about doing that. It just so happens that the framework follows an easy mnemonic, CREATE. Let me take you through each of the letters in turn. C is for character. It's a good idea to tell ChatGPT what role you want it to play. So I'll often say something like, you are a talented copywriter with 20 years experience writing high-performing sales copy.
