- Our second story of honor is Steve Case. So I was with Steve Case and his team the day Apple blew up his contract. He was creating Apple Link Personal Edition. So Apple Link was an internal email system for Apple employees. AOL was going to be an external email sharing service, but Apple blew up the contract. So that night they're all depressed. They just saw their only customer, their major customer flush them down the toilet. And I said you know what, Apple did you a favor, because inside of Apple you would've been hamstrung. They would have controlled what you could do. You know, your project would be complete at the whim of someone at Apple releasing it or not, blowing it up or not as you've seen. You just got blown up today. So they did you a favor. And so Steve Case goes well why don't you give us some consulting? Why don't you do some online conferences for us? And I said okay let's do it.
