- [Instructor] All right, folks, so I'm really excited to kick this course off. Starting off with a brand new decision tree. And this is really going to help you decide which storage option to use when you're setting up your Google Cloud application, or you're just trying to solve any type of database problem that you may have. Now, the first thing, and really the first question you really need to understand is, is your data structured? So when you're looking at that from the top, we have two options if you say no. And that is Filestore, which is basically a network-attached storage, otherwise known as a NAS, and that's if you need to share files in a system similar to like a Windows file system. And then you also have Cloud Storage. So if you don't have that use case, Cloud Storage is great for just dumping data into a big old blob store, a bucket. That's where Cloud Storage really comes into play. And, honestly, when it comes to cloud, a lot of migrations start right in Cloud…
