- [Instructor] So which version should I choose? Well, there are a couple ways to think about that. First question is, are you starting from scratch? Are you here to learn about how to install Google Analytics on a brand new site with a brand new account? Then Google Analytics 4 is likely the answer. And this is because they are shutting off the old version next summer. Right now, it's planned for July, 2023. And I'd say the only exception to this advice is if you need a feature that doesn't quite exist yet. I covered those missing features in the previous video. So take a look at that. But as we touched on earlier, there are millions of existing accounts out there. So if you're here to learn how to use your already installed Analytics, you may want to have a working knowledge of that platform too as you plan your transition.
