- For those of us operating website maps, the type of devices, operating systems and platforms that our users are using is a big part of understanding their experience and thus the focus of our analytics. So when we go to the tech reports, we're going to see the same template as we did in demographics. We got the overview and then the breakout for each of those and the details report. And because Google has the ability to see a single user across multiple devices, a really interesting report is this first one here, users by platform. It not only shows you the volume of who is on which platform that makes up all the data in your account, the size of the circle here being more people, but the overlap of the Venn diagram is how many users are on both platforms as they access your site.
