- Welcome to lesson four. This is our jumping off point into some of the services available in Azure. We'll learn all about Azure virtual machines in this lesson. We'll kick it off with a demonstration of how you create a virtual machine in Azure. You're free to just watch, or you can follow along and create your own VM. We'll then cover how Azure Virtual Networks connect VMs to the internet and to other resources. We'll look at how you can add disk to a virtual machine. I'll show you how you can resize a virtual machine when you need more power or when you want to move to a smaller VM to save some money. We'll close out the lesson by going through the options for accessing a VM remotely, including how you can use a service called Azure Bastion to remotely access a VM without installing any tools and without any complicated configuration.
