This is a feature that I am excited to share with you, because Unpivot is the feature that sold me on Power Query. Up until I found this feature, I was iffy about Power Query, but let me show you what's happening here. We've got this donation data separated by month and then online, cash, and mail. This is set up like a matrix, easy for a person to read to see that $310 came in, in cash in February. Simple. But there's so much more here. We could sort the donations; ascending or descending. We could separate Q1 from Q2. We could look at donations that are $15,000 and below and $15,000 and above. So much. But in order to get at some of that, we would have to write complex, very delicate formulas, that's if we didn't have Power Query in our lives. But we do. So let's get into it. Cursor is in the data set. Right-click, GetData from Table/Range. Here's our data. There are two ways that we can unpivot this data.
