In a previous video, I showed you how to pivot in Power Query. But you might ask, well, why would I do that in Power Query when I could easily do that in Excel? Well, here is a scenario. We have these volunteer hours by office employee category and hours. And over here we have this. We've got another office and the wildlife conservation, the technology. The volunteer categories are going across as headers. And we've been told we want to see the data this way, not this way. Thus we need the two datasets appended, but we have to get them formatted the same way in order to do that. So let's do that. Cursor is in the dataset. I'm in the data tab From Table/Range. And you see, I already have the Archer dataset right there. Now, we've got this data. We're going to do the fill down. The highlight here, right-click. Fill up to close the holes in our columns.
