- Here we go, maxifs and minifs, two relatively new functions that are a lifesaver. They will allow us to get the maximum value or the minimum value based on criteria. Here we are considering vacations. In columns B through G we've got the vacation, the price, the destination. If it's a desert, a cruise, big city. If it's US or international. The start date of the vacation package and how many days it is. In I and J, we have our criteria. We don't want a destination of a big city. We want it to be International and our maximum budget is $2,000. And I'm going to put my cursor inside the table. We get the Table Design tab available and go over and we see that the table's name is Vacations. Now let's get the max, min, and average prices. Equals maxifs. Double click the maxifs. The max range, we want the maximum price. Hover over the column hitter, wait for that black arrow and then click and it grabs the entire column.…
