- I've created a small worksheet on this worksheet called TRANSPOSE. After working with it for a little bit, I've decided that you know what I should have done is I should have put the months down in column A downward like this, and then sales, expenses, profits across the time like that. And then if I wanted to add the additional six months of the year, probably fit on the screen a lot better than this would here. And there's another thought too. What if I wanted to have that other list reflect what's happening here? Now we're talking about actually two different concepts here, but they both use the word transpose. There is a function called transpose, there's also a capability or command called transpose. Let's talk about the command first. Let's say I'm just not satisfied with this layout.
