- [Narrator] It's time for another challenge. I just got a new subwoofer for my audio system. A subwoofer is a speaker that's specifically designed to play really low bass frequencies, typically in the range below 100 to 200 hertz. I need your help designing a filter to place between my audio source and the amplifier for my subwoofer to make sure it only gets low frequency signals. Your goal for this challenge is to design a passive RC filter consisting of a single resistor and a single capacitor. Your filter should attenuate the frequency components of an input signal that are above a minus three dB cutoff frequency of around 150 hertz. I'll allow for some flexibility in the requirements so you can stick with using common resistor and capacitor values.
