- [Instructor] Coming to the last part of this chapter understanding device settings at the tenant level. If you remember joining a device to active directory on premises requires enterprise admin credentials. That makes things a little difficult because an enterprise admin needs to be involved every time a device needs to be added to the domain. But in Azure AD, thankfully things are a bit easier. You can choose which users are allowed to join devices to Azure AD. They can simply use their standard user credentials to add devices to the tenant. In this remote age, this is a much needed feature. By the way, this refers to Azure AD Join because hybrid joins are initiated by administrators through AD Connect. Users can do that. So remember this only refers to Azure AD Join. Then you can also delegate local administrative privileges to a user or group of users on the joined devices.
