- [Instructor] Feature flagging is a way of tagging our features such that we can roll them out to a smaller audience before making the feature available for all users. This can be invaluable because we can experiment with new features and iterate on them or abandon them all together based on how they're received. This can ensure there's greater success with new features and that we don't waste time building things users won't actually use. Feature flagging is available in a lot of the tools we use for experimentation. LaunchDarkly, VWO both have them. For this unit, we're going to look at the feature flagging tools in Amplitude, which fortunately they've actually just added for the free version. It didn't use to be available, you needed a higher license in order to use it. So, in order to create one, you can go ahead and go to the Create menu and you'll see below there's a Feature Flag option.
