- [Instructor] Determining what features to build, and in what order, is at the heart of the product manager's job. The next feature could bring in a new cohort of users, or retain and increase the lifetime value of existing customers. Using data to drive this decision making process is key. When determining your strategy, there are a few things to keep in mind. What is driving the business case? Are there any issues within the app, low retention, low subscription, low conversions, that you might need to work on? Are there marketplace issues? Of the potential upcoming features, do any need a little or a lot of dev time? There are a number of formal frameworks you can use to help you with prioritization. If you prefer that approach, some of them are Moscow, which is listing things out in terms of must haves, should haves, could have, and definitely won't have.
