- [Tutor] Unlike programs like Microsoft Word, which has a natural top to bottom flow, InDesign as a page layout application, doesn't restrict you in any way when it comes to how you lay out content on a page. Any layout can be made accessible, but certain layouts might require a bit more assistance in controlling how content is read. Let's look at a few options. You can see here on this first page, I have a couple of images here. And then we have a text train down here. Now, when order of content is determined in InDesign, by default it starts in the upper left hand corner, goes across, and then down. Depending how content is laid out on your page, that order may or may not be okay with what you're trying to achieve. Now, as I move down to some other pages, you'll notice here my table of contents is linked from one page to the other. And I really only have a single frame on each page.
