- [Instructor] So let's now discuss continuous deployment in terms of DevOps in the cloud. A keep in mind the key objectives are, the ability to in essence, push something from development, integration and testing out to some platform where it can be operated. In other words, the ability to deploy systems that are ready to be deployed. So it allows us to, in essence, create a tighter working relationship between development, operations and the end user. So, ultimately when you hear deployment, we think it's about the rudimentary moving a system from staging into production. It's much more than that, though. It's the ability to understand what parts and components have changed and the ability only to deploy those parts and components that have changed.
