- [Instructor] Let's face it, AI blew up in 2023. You see it everywhere. Look at here, this and this. Now, why AI is game-changing is because there are so many unique use cases for every profile, for content creators, marketers, copywriters, and yes, even for project managers. So let's take the time to really understand AI capabilities in project management at a high level. We know that AI can help us with things like proofreading our emails, generating summaries and travel itineraries. And yes, I've done all three, but did you know that there are specific use cases for project management? Here's an example. You can create a project brief from scratch, which essentially is a one-pager that tells everyone involved in that project what they're supposed to do, why they're doing it and how they plan to do it. You can also leverage AI to help you plan for the inevitable. If you're launching a new program, consider all of the risks and unknowns to be wary of and account for. What could go wrong? And what's the likelihood of it, low, medium and high? And what's the impact that it can have on our teams, the business and customers? AI can serve as your second brain, helping you think through possible scenarios and plan for the worst. Better planning helps you be a better project leader. Now, I want to pause. Let's take a moment to think about which projects you are currently working on that could benefit from AI. Think about it, savor it as we learn specific tactics you can use. So let's talk about implementing the right AI tools. Like I said, there's a lot of AI tools in the market. Some of the most popular ones right now are Bing Chat from Microsoft, Claude from Anthropic and Bard from Google. For this course, we'll focus on how to use ChatGPT for project management from open AI. Clearly, AI is here to stay, and when used wisely, it can help you think strategically, create better plans and be a stronger and more confident project leader. Next up, you're going to learn how to be smart, thoughtful and ethical when using AI to uplevel your projects.
