Modifying objects
- [Instructor] There is another way to manipulate and change objects and that's by using a modifier. Let me show you. Let's go ahead and click on the torus that we made earlier. If I zoom in, I can see this little wrench on the right side of my properties panel. If I left click and drag to give myself a little bit more real estate, you can see when I click on this wrench, it brings up a new option called Add Modifier. Clicking on the Add Modifier drop down, brings me a whole list of cool things I can do. On the left are really advanced topics, like modifying the actual object and mesh data. In this middle left column here called generate, I have the ability to add on or remove geometry depending on the mesh that I currently have. To the right of it is the deformed column which instead of adding or subtracting geometry, we'll just take whatever I have and manipulate it. And finally, on the right are different physics…
