Deep dive: Preserving normal detail
- [Instructor] Remember how in the previous chapter, we talked about preserving all of that normal, intricate detail, well, in this video, we're going to show you how to do it. And it's going to require a lot of steps, so feel free to pause and come back to it as you move along. The very first thing I want to do is to go to the layout tab over here on the top. And I want to unhide my high res fish. Now, if I click on this little X right here and go to wireframe, I can compare my 3D model, low res to my high res. What I want to ensure is that if I go into edit mode by hitting tab, that these vertices are as close as possible. Now it looks like over time, I've moved a little bit, but that's okay, we can just go ahead and move any of the offending vertices over. Now granted, we've already textured, so we need to be careful that we don't move things a little bit too much. Let's just go back into this view and we're going to…
