- [Instructor] Welcome to another tip and trick for AutoCAD. You'll notice in this particular case, in this particular tip and trick, I don't have a drawing open in AutoCAD for you. In fact there's no need to even download a drawing from the library. What we're going to do is create a whole new drawing from an AutoCAD template. Now, the reason we're going to do that is I want you to kind of behave as if you've installed AutoCAD for the first time and you've opened it up on your Windows PC. You've double clicked on that AutoCAD icon. AutoCAD has opened up and here we are in the start tab in AutoCAD. Now, just for reference, I'm using the latest version of AutoCAD, which is AutoCAD 2023. So you see that kind of all over the screen. It's in the title bar at the top of the screen. It's over on the left hand side there saying AutoCAD 2023 as well.
