- [Instructor] Welcome to another AutoCAD tips and tricks video. We're going to be taking a look at how floating windows work in AutoCAD in this particular video. So for that reason, we've got two drawings for you this time. So you'll see that we've got 313 Floating Windows.dwg open. And you'll also notice that we have the Metal Plate.dwg file open as well. So make sure that you download both of these files from the library to follow along with this particular tips and tricks video. And make sure that 313 Floating Windows is the current file tab by clicking on it, like you just saw me do there. Now, the 313 Floating Windows drawing has a little bolt arrangement with some dimension annotation. If you go to the Metal Plate tab and click on it, you'll see we've still got the bolt arrangement there, but we've got some other views as well. We've got a metal plate with some holes in it.
