- [Instructor] We're going to take a look at another AutoCAD tip and trick today, and we're going to take a look at centerlines and center marks. And for that purpose, we've got a new drawing for you. It's called 288-Centerlines.dwg and as usual, you should know the drill by now, you can download it from the library to follow along with this particular tips and tricks video. Now, one of the really nice things about later versions of AutoCAD is you've actually got center marks and centerlines as AutoCAD objects. So when you open up this particular drawing, I'd like you to check on the Layers panel in the Home tab that you're using your centerlines layer as the current drafting layer. Then just pop over to the Annotate tab on the ribbon and you'll see that you've got a centerlines panel here for center mark and for centerline. Now, these are two different AutoCAD object types now.
