- [Instructor] Welcome to another tip and trick for AutoCAD. We're going to jump into a little bit of 3D modeling now in AutoCAD. And we're going to take a look at how to generate some of the 3D primitives available to you in the AutoCAD repertoire. So for that, we've got a new drawing for you, it's called 268 3D modeling and then 3D primitives.dwg. You know, the drill by now, you can download it from the library to follow along with this particular tips and tricks video. Now, when I created this particular drawing and it is a blank drawing, I created it from the acadiso 3D template in AutoCAD. So acad, a-c-a-d-i-s-o 3D. And this is how it opens up from that particular template. The only thing I've added to it is a 3D Objects layer, which I want you to make the current drafting last, so that when you create 3D objects, they have a specific color.
