- [Instructor] Welcome to another tip and trick for AutoCAD. We're going to be checking out the AutoCAD interface and specifically how we use our tooltips in AutoCAD. Now we've got a drawing for that. It's called 262 INTERFACE - Using tooltips.dwg. As usual, download it from the library to follow along with this tips and tricks video. When you open it up, you'll notice it's a fairly simplistic drawing in the model tab with a triangle, a rectangle, a circle, and a polygon. And all we're going to do there is have that live drawing open kind of in the background. Because I'm showing you how to work with your tooltips and some of the variables that control the tooltips as they appear on your AutoCAD screen. Now, the first system variable I want to show you is simply tooltips. So with your dynamic input on and your crosshair somewhere in the drawing area, just type tooltips, like so.
