- [Instructor] Welcome to another tip and trick for AutoCAD. Today, we're going to be looking at annotation and utilizing annotative text labels for labeling some room areas in a floor plan. Now we got a drawing for you it's 258 ANNOTATION - Using annotative text labels.dwg, you can see the name of it there in the AutoCAD title bar, and as usual you can download it from the library to follow along with this particular tips and tricks video. And when you do open up the drawing, make sure you are in the model tab initially, 'cause that's where we need to be first, we'll then move into the layout tab in a moment, once I've been through what we need to set up in the model space first. So you've got the drawing open and we're going to be looking at using annotative text labels. Now, if we zoom in on the table here, you'll see that the room names correspond to the room markers where the rooms are polylines. So if we look for EL3…
