- [Instructor] Welcome to another tip and trick for AutoCAD. What we're going to do today is have a look at measuring in AutoCAD, by tabulating polyline areas. Now, for that reason we've got a new drawing for you, it's called 257 measure tabulating polyline areas.DWG. You can see the name of the file in the title bar in AutoCAD at the top of the screen there. You can download this particular DWG file to follow along with this particular tips and tricks video too. So open it up in AutoCAD, go into the model space and you should see what is on the screen in front of you. Now, what we're going to do is tabulate polyline areas in order to manage some room areas in our floor plan on the screen. Now, what I've done in this particular drawing is added some polyline areas for particular rooms. So you'll see we got a polyline there and there's a polyline there, those are our two small conference rooms, we've got a boardroom…
