- [Instructor] Welcome to another tip and trick for AutoCAD. We're going to be taking a look at floating drawing tabs in this particular tip and trick. So we've got a new drawing for you, it's called 249 INTERFACE Working with floating drawing tabs.dwg. Fairly self-explanatory, and you can download it, from the library, to follow along with this particular tips and tricks video. Now once you've got that drawing open in AutoCAD, I'd like you to just open up a blank drawing as well. There's my blank drawing, there, I've just left it as drawing1 as you can see. So we've got two drawing file tabs at the top of the screen under the ribbon there. Now, just before we go any further, this is a feature specific to the latest version of AutoCAD, AutoCAD 2022.
