- So you would think that one good fix prior to keying would be to maximize the saturation in a shot particularly if it's low as it is here. If we look at the ratio we've got about 32, 33% green levels and the blue is down at 22 or 23%. If I raise saturation I can get a nice healthy green. I could even raise the lightness a little bit and through that combo my green level is now above 50% and blue is less than half, it's around 25%. So I've increased the difference between green and either blue or red. Well that should help Keylight quite a bit, right? Let's see. So I'll open up the layer and switch to status view over here, use my normal method and look for a background color and in fact initially it looks like yeah that's helping quite a bit. I'm getting all but a small area of the background keying out immediately. So we'll take that and I'll close that up and it's only when we try to finish the shot that we see that in fact all we've really done is offset the problem. We haven't…
