Precisely adjust Clip Black and Clip White in Keylight

- No matter how perfectly shot the source footage, and even with the optimal screen color selection, I've never seen a clip that doesn't need some adjustment of the Clip Black or Clip White controls, and typically both under Screen Matte. In this movie, I'll give you guidelines to correctly set and evaluate these two settings, which is generally the next step you take after setting screen color. We're gonna continue with a couple of examples. The green screen with the hat. The green screen with the hair, and also a blue screen with the hat will be added. And each of these is going to help us understand the general guidelines for refining these mattes. So this one looks pretty good, initially, right? But to evaluate this, there a couple of methods to really get down to how good a matte is it. One is to keep looking at Status view, and there we see some noise in the background, and some transparency in the foreground. You can also see that either by looking at the Combined Matte, which…
