- I've worked in many industries and some of my most rewarding experiences have come from building relationships with external partners. Through external organizations representing underrepresented communities, I've learned more about different customers and product users. So, the teams responsible for serving those end users have then been able to build with a broader range of people and needs in mind. The key takeaway here is that external partnerships allow your teams to connect with your existing and future workforce, customers and clients. So, prioritize meeting those outside your company's walls. Understand their needs and concerns. Your respectful presence in underrepresented community spaces can demonstrate your commitment.
