- [Dave] Where are you in your journey learning Terraform? If you've covered the basics and you're looking to learn more advanced use cases, then this is the course for you. Terraform configurations typically begin as simple representations of an existing application infrastructure. The fun begins when a configuration is complete enough to take over the deployment of that infrastructure. We'll start with a very simple configuration that represents an existing web application running in a private data center. We'll take on the role of a DevOps engineer tasked with improving and evolving the application infrastructure. When we're finished, our humble little application will have become a fully cloud-native software as a service application, all managed with Terraform. Hi, my name is Dave Swersky. I've been working with Terraform for several years as an application developer and DevOps engineer. I'm excited to show you how Terraform works on real production applications. So let's get started.
