- [Instructor] Terraform is infrastructure as code or IAC. IAC is all about configuring things so we need a thing to configure. Our thing for this course will be Google Cloud platform, or GCP. You don't need any prior experience with GCP to complete this course. We'll keep the focus on Terraform as much as possible, but hey, if you happen to learn a few things about cloud-native infrastructure along the way, that's not a bad thing, right? If you don't already have a Google Cloud account, your first step is to create one. Go to cloud.google.com and create a new account. You will be asked to use a credit card to open the account. We'll be using free tier resources for this course as much as possible. You will be responsible for any charges you do incur.
