- [Instructor] So now that I've created the form fields for the address area of this order form, I'm going to format some of these fields to only accept certain types of information. Formatting fields can prevent the user from placing incorrect or wrong information into a field. This is really helpful when forums require specific information like a zip code, phone number, social security number, or other data where you know there are certain characters that the user shouldn't have to enter. So I'm still working in the Edit View of the prepare form tools. And I have the selection tool selected. I'll double click the Zip Code field to open up its properties. And here I'll go to the Format tab. So the default category for all text fields is None, which basically means you can enter anything you want into the field, but from this menu, I can select from any of these other categories, such as Number, Percentage, Date, Time,…
