Rack macros
- [Instructor] Racks often incorporate multiple devices with dozens of parameters, and often you need only quick access to a few of those controls. Locating them can be a pain, so let's take a look at how rack macros solve this problem. So I've got exercise six from chapter nine open, and I've got this first track in the set selected and down here in device view, I have several devices on this one track. So, to be able to use rack macros, we need to have a rack. So I need to select these devices and rack them. So I've selected the first device in the device view, and I'm going to select the rest of them by using a key command: command A. That would be control A on a PC, and then I'll also group them or rack them, with the group command: command G, or control G on a PC. And now that we have them in a rack, we can bring up the rack macro by clicking the show/hide button just below the activator button in the upper…
