- [Illustrator] Now, that we've thoroughly discussed recording and editing MIDI, it's time to turn our attention to audio. Let's start by discussing how to prepare to record audio. So, I've got just a Default set open. I want to start by checking my Audio Preferences. So, remember where the preferences are under the Options menu on a PC, and under the Live Menu if you're on a Mac. So, let's open that, and let's select the Audio tab. Now, I'm going to check just a couple of things here, including to make sure that the audio input device is set to my interface, and then I'm going to drop down, and I'm going to check the sample rate. Now, this is part of determining our audio quality of the audio that we're going to record into our live set.
