Moving from Session to Arrangement View
- [Instructor] Session view is a great place to work out ideas and build a project, but you may find it easier to record vocals, add automation, or even tweak a project in Arrangement view. So let's take a look at how you can move clips, scenes and even a whole arrangement from Session to Arrangement view. So I've got Exercise 5 from Chapter 7 open, and let's start by just doing some copying and pasting, and I'm going to be using the typical copy and paste commands, command C and command V if you're on a Mac and control C and control V if you're on a PC. All right. So for example, I can select a clip on a track, copy it, tab over, put my cursor on the track where I want that to go and then use my paste command, and I've copied it from Session view over to Arrangement view. Let me undo that, tab back over. Now, I can also copy a bunch of clips from a track here in Session view. So all I need to do is click select the first…
