Locators

- Locators help to find and navigate the sections of the song when working in arrangement view. So let's check out how to create and use them. So I've got exercise two from chapter seven open. And if we look up here just below the ruler here in arrangement view, you'll notice in the scrub area, we've got these little triangles and you can see that they've been named things like verse and chorus and pre-chorus. So those are our locators, or as we refer to them as markers in other programs. Let's take a look at how to create some. So, first of all, I need to have something here around bar 33. So if I place my cursor here at measure 33 down in the timeline, I can go up to the create menu and I can choose add locator from the menu. Now, when that opens up, it's also opened up the ability to name that. So I'll call this one, chorus two. I need another one over here at measure 40. So if I select in the timeline there, another…
