Linked track editing
- [Narrator] As we saw in the last video, takes and track comping are great new features and in conjunction with linked-track editing, we can also comp multi-track drum parts. So I've got exercise six from chapter six open, and as the name implies, we need to link tracks together to be able to simultaneously edit them, and that's easy to do. If we go over here into the track headers and just Shift + click to select multiple tracks, we can link them together by right-clicking and choosing link tracks from the contextual menu. Now once they're linked, we see this little icon that's here in the upper right-hand corner, and if I remove my selection, you'll notice that as I hover my mouse over that icon, it shows me the tracks that are in that linked-track group. Now if I select those again and let's do that right, let me Shift + click and I right-click again, I can also unlink them. Now if you have some of these tracks grouped or…
