- Knowing how to quickly adjust the grid is a big help when you're working in the arrangement window and the MIDI editor and using the related keyboard shortcuts will make your work go even faster. So I've got exercise one from chapter five open, and I'm going to hit my tab key because I want to work in arrangement view for this video. Now, once I'm there, you'll notice that I need to hit the back to arrange button so that it opens it up for us to work in this window. And I'm going to start by selecting a clip here on the marimba track and I'm doing that because I want to show you that we actually have independent grid settings for the two areas, and we can see what they're set out right now if you look in the lower right-hand corner of each area.
