Effects racks, part 1

- Out of all of Ableton's innovative features, The one that I miss the most when I'm working in other programs is racks. Let's start by taking a look at, audio racks. So I've got exercise one from chapter nine open, and on this kick track, I have three devices or plugins that I'm using to process this kick sound. Now, I can pull these out individually every time I'm working on a kick track, but these really represent a starting point for me. And I want to be able to save these devices together as one preset. And we can do that by adding these to a rack. So let's select the first device that I want to include in this rack. And then I'm going to shift click, the title bar of the last one. And now you can right click on the title bar of any of the three devices and from the contextual menu, you can choose the option here for group, or you can also use a key command, which would be command G on a Mac or control G on a PC.…
