- In the last video, we started to learn how to use session view automation and clip envelopes. Let's finish the discussion with audio clip envelopes and arrangement view, clip envelopes. So I've still got exercise three from chapter 12 open, and let's go over to the audio clip track, and I'm going to select this first clip, the course drums clip on the track. So if we go down to clip view and select the envelopes tab, you'll notice that we have the kind of same structure here. We've got the first pop-up menu that allows us to choose the device. And again, we've got the mixer controls plus any devices that are on the track. And then this option for clip that we'll talk about here in a minute. Now with mixer, you'll notice again that we both have the ability to have automation clip envelopes, to set the absolute level and we have also modulation envelopes where we can set a relative offset.
