- Throughout the last decade, I've been refining my own approach to the many equity challenges I've been tasked to solve. Every challenge has been unique. Each organization with its own culture, industry-specific nuances, and organizational politics. Each equity challenge with differing impacts, affecting different communities, and with differing levels of understanding across the organization. There are some aspects of this work that are admittedly a little hard to teach, but I believe the approach that I've developed over the years is a simple yet powerful framework to achieve equity, and that with some important considerations and guidance added to the mix, any leader can start doing this work effectively. This belief that equity work is possible and achievable for anyone is what led to the Workplace Equity Playbook that makes up the remainder of this course.
