Webcasting and Digital Media Technician
CVW’s Webcasting and Digital Media Technician actively manages webcasts for live event video productions occurring at venues in the DC Metro Area with some travel, nights and weekends being required. On site technician roles are fast paced and require setting up and monitoring of equipment at each event. Daily responsibilities also include proper inventorying and archiving of digital media recorded by the AV team on site at all shows including compression of material for sending to clients and organizing of drives. Editing and graphics work will be needed, primarily to support these tasks.

Preferred Education And Experience
Proficiency in Livestream, OBS, Youtube Live, Vimeo Streaming softwares and platforms
Work experience in any of the following – audiovisual field, video production, recording studio, Technical Support, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role.
Proficiency in graphic tools (Adobe Creative Suite), video editing software, & other multimedia creation platforms
Knowledge of Video and Audio Equipment
Configuring streaming encoders and software applications
Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
Comfortable with Mac and Windows Computers
Microsoft Office, Zoom, Adobe Creative Suite
Can diagnose and troubleshoot simple technical issues
Comfortable lifting 50lbs
