VP of Compliance

Based in Marlborough, MA, this one-billion-dollar asset state-chartered credit union is a progressive, member-centric organization. With almost 53,000 members, our Client offers an attractive alternative to traditional banks.

This is an outstanding opportunity to lead the compliance function within a well-regarded financial services organization of scale. In this highly visible role, the Vice President of Compliance will help maintain a strong risk and compliance environment, supporting Senior Management and the Credit Union’s continued growth plan. Position Overview:

• Under the direction of the CFO, administer the Credit Union’s compliance program.
• Oversee the Organization’s Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering program, and associated systems and reporting. This includes BSA, AML, CIP, CTRs, SARs, OFAC, and FinCEN.
• Serve as the liaison for all compliance related matters including state and federal regulations.
• Lead a team of upwards of three compliance professionals.

Qualifications:

• Prior “hands-on” financial services compliance experience.
• Solid knowledge of BSA, AML, and other key compliance accountabilities.
• Extensive knowledge of applicable software programs and banking/credit union systems.
• Self-starter with the ability to define clear objectives and plans relating to compliance challenges.
• Professionally assertive and detail oriented with strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Verafin and COCC Insight (or Fiserv DNA) experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in experience.
